Single-outlet air pump for aerating reservoirs and nutrient solutions in hydroponics. Used with air stones/diffusers, it helps increase water oxygenation and maintain good air circulation in the aeration circuit.
Key features
- Product type: Air pump for hydroponics
- Outlets: 1
- Power supply: 220V / 50Hz
- Power: 3W
- Pressure: 0.02 MPa
Overview
What it is for
It is used to oxygenate water or nutrient solution in reservoirs and hydroponic systems (e.g. DWC, recirculating reservoirs, preparation tanks). Aeration helps keep the water more “alive” and supports more stable system management.
Who it is for
- Growers who want to improve aeration of the nutrient solution
- Hydroponic systems with reservoirs, tanks or containers where diffusers/air stones are used
- Indoor setups where a simple, quick-to-install accessory is desired
What makes it different
- Electrical and operating specifications declared by the distributor source (see sources)
- Compact format and immediate use with aeration accessories (air tube, diffuser)
How to use
Assembly
- Place the pump in a dry, stable position, preferably above the water level of the reservoir.
- Connect an air tube to the pump outlet and to the diffuser/air stone.
- Place the air stone in the reservoir and make sure it remains well submerged.
Startup
- Switch on the pump and check that aeration through the diffuser is correct.
- If the tube tends to empty or allow water to flow back, consider using a check valve (not included unless otherwise stated by the seller).
Daily management
- Check that aeration is constant and that the air stone is not blocked.
- Monitor the condition of the air tube (kinks, crushing, obstructions).
Maintenance
- Clean or replace the diffuser periodically if aeration decreases.
- Keep the pump away from splashes and condensation to preserve its operation.
Warnings
- Do not immerse the pump in water.
- Position the pump above reservoir level or use a check valve to reduce the risk of backflow.

FAQ & growing tips
diffusore a richiedere pulizia o sostituzione.
Posso usarla in un serbatoio di ricircolo?
Sì, l’aerazione è comunemente utilizzata anche in vasche e serbatoi di preparazione della soluzione nutritiva.
