Overview

What it is for

It is used to treat air extracted from an indoor environment through a bed of activated carbon, with the aim of reducing odors before discharge outside. It is designed for inline installation on ventilation systems with an extractor.

Who it is for

  1. Indoor cultivation setups that require odor control on the extraction line
  2. Setups with ducts and connections of 100 mm or 125 mm (via optional flange)
  3. Those who prefer a lightweight filter with a plastic body

What makes it different

  1. Plastic body and low weight
  2. Optional flange selectable between 100 and 125 mm
  3. Airflow specifications declared both as practical capacity and technical capacity

How to use

Installation

  1. Select the flange compatible with your line (Ø100 or Ø125 mm) and mount it on the filter.
  2. Insert the filter into the air-extraction circuit and connect the ducts with clamps or suitable fixing systems.
  3. Make sure the joints are well sealed to avoid air leaks and bypass of the filtering material.
  4. Connect the filter to an extractor suitable for your system’s airflow.

Adjustment

  1. The filter does not require adjustments: performance depends on the extractor’s actual airflow and correct inline installation.

Maintenance

  1. Inspect the outside of the filter periodically and keep the installation area clean to reduce dust build-up.
  2. When odor control is no longer adequate, evaluate replacing the filter according to the operating conditions of your system.

Warnings

  1. Do not use in the presence of water or direct condensation on the filter.
  2. Do not obstruct the connections and do not compress the ducts.
  3. Install only on systems with extractor and ducts sized correctly.

Technical specifications

Brand

CAN-FILTERS offers a range of activated carbon filters designed for integration with air-extraction systems in indoor cultivation, with models available in several sizes and configurations.

FAQ & usage tips

Is the flange included?

No: the flange is indicated as optional and must be purchased separately according to the desired diameter (100 or 125 mm).

What airflow should I consider for system use?

The filter lists a practical capacity of 300 m³/h and a technical capacity of 330 m³/h: to choose the extractor and set up the system, it is useful to consider the system’s actual effective airflow (ducts, bends, and pressure losses).

Can I use it on systems with 100 or 125 mm ducts?

Yes, via an optional Ø100 or Ø125 mm flange.
